Victorian silver & enamel fob watch |

A very decorative Swiss made fob watch from the late Victorian era. It has blue enamel & gold coloured stars over engine turning on the front & rear covers, the enamelling is excellent with no loss. The covers are both snap-on & close firmly & evenly. The bow is marked .925 & has the London silver import mark. The case body has no silver markings. There is a small button on the edge at 1, this is used to set the time by pushing in the button & turning the crown. The glass is excellent. The dial has blue numerals surrounded by gold & silver dots. There is a very faint hairline running from the centre to the 4 but this is so faint it is almost invisible. The Swiss made cylinder movement is running well & keeping good time.
