J W Benson of London pocket watch signed TO H.R.H THE PRINCE OF WALES & H.I.M THE EMPEROR OF RUSSIA. The silver case has the London hallmark for 1878 & the serial number 32803 (also on movement), it is in very good condition with no dents but some wear to the engine turning on the sides & rear from years of polishing. The dial is excellent, with no cracks, just a tiny edge chip at 8 minutes past 12, which is obscured by the bezel when closed. The fusee lever movement has the original brass dust cover (not shown in the pictures) & is signed J W BENSON 58 & 60 LUDGATE HILL LONDON TO H.R.H THE PRINCE OF WALES & H.I.M THE EMPEROR OF RUSSIA. It is running well & keeping good time.
