An Edwardian silver cased nurses fob watch. The dial is excellent,with no chips or cracks & is marked with the red cross, it has a centre seconds hand for more accurate reading & an outer scale graduated in 1/5 seconds. The ornate case has front & rear hinged covers, both closing firmly & evenly. The inside of the rear cover has the London silver import hallmark for 1907 & the case makers mark W&G Ltd. The Swiss made cylinder movement runs well & keeps good time, it has a pin-set mechanism, where, to move the hands to the correct time, you push in a pin at I & turn the crown.
