An elegant cobalt blue cylinder form scent bottle, with a hinged silver top and collar, glass stopper, and silver base cover. A silver snake with ruby eyes is coiled around the centre of the bottle. The top has a thumb piece mounted with a a small ruby stone. The back is engraved with a crown and the conjoined initials "IR". Hallmarked for London 1899, maker's mark SM&Co, for Sampson Mordan & Company.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: A little under 3in/7.6cm high.
