An unusual and striking cranberry glass scent bottle - with glass stopper - in the shape of a saber or curved dagger. The bottle has a brass hinged grip top and serpentine, scrollwork patterned guard; the upper and lower sections of the body are gilded and decorated in raised enamel with tiny polychrome flower clusters, the middle section is embellished with leaf and sprig designs in raised gilt. Circa 1880, probably Bohemian.

Dimensions: Circa 6¼in/15.9cm long.
