A striking, tapered, green glass lay-down scent or toilet water bottle with a floral embossed silver ball cork stopper, in a fitted silver cover. The pierced cover has a narrow rim, and is decorated with blooms, leaves, scrollwork and other vegetal designs; there is a plain area at the front left free for engraving. English, hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, maker's mark "AWP" for A.W. Peden. A little over 8žin/30cm long.
