A scarce and fine cut glass ruby scent bottle, with a silver gilt spring loaded top, and vinaigrette with hinged cover at the base. The bottle has bevel cut corners, the pierced vinaigrette grill is decorated with floral and leaf scrollwork. Hallmarked in several places for London 1862, also maker's marks "SM" and "Sampson Mordan & Co. Makers".
Condition: Good
Dimensions: 3¾in/9.5cm high.
