A Swiss made Goliath pocket watch retailed by MACKAY & CHISHOLM EDINBURGH. The nickel case has a copper coloured inner bezel & is in excellent condition with no dents. The front & rear covers & the inner dustcover are all hinged , they all close firmly & evenly. The dial is excellent with no cracks or chips. The Swiss made lever movement is excellent, it is running well & keeping good time. It is covered by a glass inner cover. The hands are pin-set, typical of the late Victorian/Edwardian era, to set the time you have to push in the pin at 11 & turn the crown. A very large pocket watch measuring 2,5/8” (66mm) diameter excluding the stem.
