PONDA JIGSAW PUZZLE "TRAVEL THROUGH TIME" |

TRAVEL THROUGH TIME is the name we have given to this puzzle as it is untitled. The picture shows a sailing ship, a passenger liner, a motorised ship's tender or speed boat and a flying boat, similar to the flying boat which was the forerunner of the Spitfire and which won the Schneider Cup before the second world war. PONDA of course is always associated with Victory puzzles and when this was made Ponda were in Hastings, England. The puzzle has 1 piece missing from the approx. 300 pieces (sea). Although there is an inscription showing 1949 we do believe this to be pre-war but cannot be exact. It certainly has a ring of Empire about it. Made of plywood,
