SILVER DROP SHAPE SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE |

A delightful silver scent bottle, with an inner glass phial, cone shape hinged lid, drop shaped body, and suspensory chain on leaf eyelets. The lightly pinched, wrythen form body has a patterned collar, relief embossed floral swags, as well as ornate scrollwork designs. The bottle has an S-form snap catch, and the neck of the glass phial fits neatly into the recessed lid. Circa 1870, not hallmarked but tested for silver, quite possibly French.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: A little over 2¼in/5.7cm high.
