A splendid porcelain scent bottle, realistically modelled as a speckled Wader's egg. The bottle has a cork lined silver screw top and silver collar. Hallmarked for London 1884, maker's mark "S.M." for Sampson Mordan; registration number "20772" on the bottle base registered to James Macintyre, Washington China Works, Burslem.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: 2½in/6.4cm high.
