A rare and fine Sampson Mordan sterling silver ovoid scent bottle, with a cork lined screw cap. The bottle comes in the original box, and is masterfully hand decorated in polychrome vitreous enamel with a pug's head. Hallmarked for London 1889, box lining stamped in gold with a crown and retailer's name "Mansfield, Dressing Bag Maker, Grafton Street, Dublin".
Condition: Good
Dimensions: Bottle 3in/7.6cm high.
