A striking cut crystal, tapered square dressing table bottle, with sloping panel and hobnail stripe shoulders, hobnail and diamond sides, blaze corners, as well as a radial burst to the base. The bottle comes complete with stopper, and features an unusual button release hinged dome top with an embossed biblical temple scene; the font shaped lower section is embellished with floral, leaf and scrollwork designs. Hallmarked for London 1892, maker's mark "W.C" for William Comyns & Sons Ltd.
