A very long and attractive amber glass attar bottle - also known as a Teardrop, Oxford Lavender, or Throwaway - with the original ovoid head stopper. The bottle is decorated with enamelled polychrome blooms and leaf sprays, plus additional enamel dots and flower heads within crossed zig zag gilt lines. The sides are embellished with gilt work designs, and the stopper has faint circular gilt outlines on both sides. Circa 1830, probably made either in Bohemia or England.
