Regency Gilt Triple Plate Overmantle Mirror
A lovely Regency Gilt Triple plate overmantle mirror from a large Regency Hotel in South Devon.
A great height as well as width being 36". The mirrors all bevelled and in excellent condition, the gilt itself having wear in places but generally in very good condition. The main feature of this lovely mirror being the Jupiter procession, the freize having a scantily dressed maiden seated with beautiful cherubs playing watching lions pulling a chariot of Roman gladiators heralded by winged cherubs.
Full of character and elegance.
