Attractive Edwardian Gilt Triple Plate Overmantle Mirror
Circa 1900, an exceptionally attractive gilt overmantle of triple plate design in lovely original condition. Featuring a bevelled oval mirror to the centre with very fine foliate relief work to each corner this is flanked by a pair of bevelled arched mirrors ( all excellent condition) again with foliate detail and acanthus leaf corbelles. These are further bordered by fluted pillasters. Above is a stunning frieze of ribbon garland and bellflower swags interlinked the full width with an imposing egg and dart cornice above.
A really good example and highly desireable size.
