A deep red Garnet Parure comprising of Necklace, Brooch and Earrings. A necklace with fancy box snap fastener and four silver chains adjoining the ornate pendant of floral scrolls design, set with a facet cut Bohemian Garnet and articulated droplet. The reverse shows the Garnet in open setting, Silver Hallmarks and a Maker's Mark R&j. The drop Earrings of floral design with facet cut garnet, fully articulated with clip on fittings. Open set to reverse and silver Hallmarks. The Brooch in an ornate floral design set with a Bohemian Garnet and articulated droplet. Reverse is open set, with a secure twist lock fastener and Sterling Silver Hallmark. Measuring: Necklace 17" (44 cm). Pendant Drop 2 1/4 x 1 1/2" (57 x 39). Earrings Drop Just over 1 1/2" (42 mm). Brooch 2 x 1 1/2" (50 x 39 mm). Weight 73 grams. All parts hallmarked and Maker's Mark. The necklace with 935 and the suite with London Mark indicates European prior to 1929, stamped Sterling Silver on import to UK. Very good original condition.
