Vintage Royal Worcester China Irish Whisky Coffee Cups |

An unusual pair of Royal Worcester bone china beakers and stands, designed especially for holding Irish coffee. This splendid duo is in immaculate condition, with lavish gilding. The beakers have intricate scrolled handles and are decorated with appropriate gilded Irish harps. Both pieces are fully marked and include date code for 1961.
*Irish coffee:
Telephone your heart's desire and invite him/ her round
Light log fire
Brew good, strong coffee of your choice.
Half-fill cups with piping-hot fresh coffee, top to within 1" of the rims with Irish whiskey (or Bourbon or Scotch), float rich cream over the back of a spoon onto the surface.
Sip the coffee through the cream, while snuggling close together in front of the blazing fire.
Condition: Excellent
Dimensions: Each: stand 5" diameter, cups 4" high.
