Stunning Regency Gilt Convex Circular Girondal Mirror
This highly unusual and decorative antique gilt convex mirror dates to the early part of the 19th Century and is full of wonderful detail. The original convex mirror is in excellent condition and held within a reeded ebonised frame with gilt surround. The lower pediment being of ribbon and acanthus design with 2 delicate girondal arms again with delicate ribbon swag detailing to the candle holders. The mirror itself has the most fantastic decorative sea horse sitting proud at the top with 2 lovely dolphins dressing either side.
