WW1 Ladies gold & enamel wristwatch.

A First World War ladies 9 carat gold & enamel wristwatch on a 9 carat gold bracelet. The watch is in excellent condition, the solid 9 carat gold case has a white enamelled bezel between two black enamelled rings & is inset with a gold Greek key pattern, the front is snap-on & the rear is hinged, there are no personal engravings. The inside of the rear cover is stamped with the London imported gold hallmark for 1916 & the case makers mark GS. The white enamelled dial is excellent, it has a red 12 & gold coloured minute markers. The Swiss made lever movement is running well & keeping good time, the hands are pin set, to move the hands, push in the pin on the edge at 4 & turn the winding crown. The three row expanding gold bracelet is marked 9ct, the watch & bracelet expand to a maximum of approximately 8,3/4" (222mm).
Condition: Excellent.
