MARY GREGORY STYLE GREEN GLASS SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE, SILVER TOP

A charming ovoid green glass scent bottle, with an embossed silver hinged top, silver collar and glass stopper. The bottle is hand enamelled in the Mary Gregory style with a young lad in an outdoor setting holding a bunch of flowers. The embossed silver top is not hallmarked but has been tested for silver and suggests a dateline of circa 1900. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.
Condition: Good. rim of the hinged top slightly distorted; stopper possibly a replacement but a good fit; light hinge play but satisfactory closure; nothing further found - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
