1930s NEWCASTLE CO-OP FLORIS? WHITE ROSE SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE

A most interesting and elegant cut crystal bottle from the Newcastle Cooperative Wholesale Society, sealed and filled with the original "White Rose" contents. The bottle has a diamond cut and starburst stopper, facet cut neck, step cut shoulders, diamond panelled body with clear bevelled corners, and a bevel panelled base. The stopper is held with a white leather like circular seal above a silk bow. 1930s-40s, contents - possibly by J. Floris Ltd. - identified by a paper label, additional paper label on the base for the Newcastle Co-Op.
