Very colourful puzzle painted by R.Wheatland. The scene shows a De Haviland Byplane and a line of racing cars below on the apron of the Brooklands Circuit. This circuit was in use before the Ist WW and was the first banked racing track in the country.Built by Locke-King andhad a Aero Club on site. It was visited by many famous racing drivers and aviaitors. It finished as a track before the 2nd WW but was used as an aerodrome and factory for the production of war planes. In the 1988s it reopened as a museum some of the track is in use and vintage cars and planes are on display.
Condition: Good. The jigsaw is in very good condition however the box has some tape damage to one side and a small amount on the front.
