A CHRISTMAS TALE (SILENT NIGHT) is a very hard to find in good condition KUBASTA piece of paper engineering. Published by Bancroft it offers a delighful front old town snow scene with the music and words of SILENT NIGHT on the back boards. The story pages are slightly yellowed as is inevitable with this particular edition but the next flat scene with its assortment of characters approaching the castle is in excellent condition, with its coloured lights complete. Most importantly the full double spread of the nativity with, it has to be said, rather strange assortment of characters, is in excellent condition. Altogether a worthy addition to any collection and one which is becoming increasingly scarce.
Condition: Excellent. There are no apparent faults other than a little creasing on the red coloured light but as it is rare to find these present it should cause no concern. The spread is in remarkable condition. It must be mentioned that this is an opinion because of the intricate nature of such paper engineering it can be impossible to spot an omission.
