Name: Bähr & Proeschild 585 / 8.
Head: bisque, hair wig, brown sleep eyes, painted lashes, hair lids, open mouth, two top teeth.
Body: composition with strung limbs.
Clothing: two piece cream yellow silk suit, the trousers with shoulder straps, matching under shirt and soft hat, soft wool under garments, white knitted socks, off white leather lace up shoes. Combination of 1970s/80s handmade and vintage items.
Marked: yes.
Age: probably first quarter C20th.
Provenance: item is from a large private collection of well looked after dolls formed in the 1970s and 80s.
Condition: Good. Wig hair loss, loss to hair of left lash, light age and use wear; body not inspected; stringing appears intact; sleep eyes functional; head undamaged. Full money back guarantee including postage if buyer is not satisfied in any way.
