Vintage Monet Dangles Filigree Necklace

This is a fabulous necklace signed Monet on the clasp and pendant. A very high quality piece by Monet, crafted from gold plated filigree metal stampings forming 1/2 inch square panels. The stampings are not flimsy but substantial and the necklace has a good weight, although very comfortable to wear. The necklace is 20 ins long, excluding the pendant front and dangles. The pendant is 2 ins across the widest section and the drop is 6 ins including dangles. A beautiful creation from open worked chevrons, there are four increasing in size each attached beneath the other to form the diamond shape. Along the V shaped sides of the lower chevron are heart shaped dangles, open worked. Each dangle has four shapes all linked by chain links. These make the total drop of the front and dangles 6 ins in length. An exquisite necklace in excellent vintage condition. Pendant Front 2" (5 cm) across. Length including dangles 6" (15 cm). Necklace Length 20 ins (51cm) approx.
