Rare Derby Plate - Georgian Era

A fine and hard to come by Derby plate decorated with an oriental influence of stylised fruit trees above a rock pool with three swimming ducks. The plate is hand-painted in cobalt blue, iron red and green with bold gilt highlights and three thistle sprays in a similar pallette with purple flower sprays. The plate has the early Derby red painted mark for 1800-1825. The plate is in very good condition. *Photos taken in differing light conditions.
Condition: Very Good. Tiny, very old chip to foot-rim of plate. Some slight wear to the gilding and crazing is evident.
