A Mintons China Works Shakespeare series tile in sandy beige and light brown, featuring Hamlet, Act I, Scene I. Circa 1880, designed by John Moyr Smith, signed "MS" in the tile.
Condition: Fair. Partial hair crack middle right curving downwards, does not extend to the bottom, further short hairline bottom middle; small edge nick bottom right; small amount of edge nibbling; some light surface wear; old hanger residue on the reverse (image shown representative for all tiles); image definition good - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
