A Mintons China Works Shakespeare series tile in sandy beige and light brown, featuring The Merchant of Venice, Act II, Scene II. Circa 1880, designed by John Moyr Smith, signed "MS" in the tile.
Condition: Good. Small amount of edge nibbling, mostly at the bottom; small corner losses on the reverse not visible from the front; some light surface wear; old hanger residue on the reverse (image shown representative for all tiles); no cracks or hairlines; image definition good - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
