A good black and white example of Maw & Co's "Aesop's Fables" series featuring "Small Fish Better Than None". The tile shows two monks fishing, one holds a small fish in his right hand. The edges are decorated with a leaf dart and flower head frieze. Circa 1885; signed "C.O.M" probably C.O.Murray, Maw Salopia mark.
