An elegant Staffordshire porcelain cup and saucer with a restrained decoration hand painted in apple green. The cup stands on a pedestal foot and is similar to the Grainger 'Gloster' shape, with an everted rim, but has a pinched loop handle. Both pieces are painted in balck to base with a pattern number N254 in cursive script - a pattern system similar to both New Hall and Minton but the cup and saucer belongs to neither of these factories.
 Condition: Very Good. There is no damage
 Dimensions: Cup 2.25 " high x 4.5" wide across handle. Saucer 6" diameter
