A Ridgway Cream Jug

A very fine, porcelain cream jug from the Ridgway factory, made around 1845. Of moulded shape, the white ground decorated with random, stylized flower heads, in gilt and pink and highlighted with further fine gilding. Numbered, in red, on the base with the typical Ridgway fractional pattern number, 2 / 864.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or restoration.
Dimensions: 11.5cm high x 15.0cm from handle to spout
