A Minton Sugar Box and Cover

A finely decorated porcelain, New Oval shape sugar box and cover, made at the Minton factory around 1812. White ground with a design of flowers and leaves in red, green and gilt against a dark blue ground. The base bears the typical mock Sevres mark, with the pattern number, 670, hand-written, in blue.
Condition: Good. The decoration is in very good, original order. One handle has been detached and restored. Otherwise the overall condition is good.
