19th Cent. Staffordshire Porcelain Slop Bowl

Porcelain slop bowl. Handpainted in pink, green, red & blue enamels, over-glaze, with swags of stylised flowers. Brown painted line to rim edge and foot. Number "16" painted in blue over-glaze enamel to underside. Staffordshire, circa 1810. The condition report below is as comprehensive and honest as I can make it. The faults are all, to my mind, minor and don't detract from the look and 'feel' of this lovely bowl. It is very nearly 200 years old. All faults are reflected in the price.
Condition: Very Good. Tiny nibbles to enamel on rim. Very tight curved hairline approx. 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cms) on the body with another, shorter one meeting it at 90 degrees half way along. These hairlines are under, and away from, the enamelled decoration. They are not unsightly in my opinion - hardly noticeable in normal view. A faint glaze crack under the base, approx 1 inch (2.5 cm), does not go through the body.
