A good panel cut dressing table jar - quite possibly for hatpins - with a bevelled base. The jar has a floral, scrollwork and ribbon engraved sterling silver push on top with vacant central cartouche. The top hallmarked for Birmingham 1894, maker's mark "WCG" for W. C. Griffiths.
Condition: Good. Two tiny pin prick dimples to the silver top; one or two tiny edge nicks to the body; no cracks, hairlines or bruising; very good lid fit - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
