By Sampson Mordan this beautiful porcelain and silver-gilt scent bottle is formed as a double sided willow pattern plate shaped body with a screw on top and collar in silver-gilt. The registration mark is clearly seen on the base. This is the larger sized example of these scents.
Condition: Excellent. The porcelain is unmarked and there are no repairs or restoration and the screw fitting top goes on easily and smoothly. The only fault is slight wear to the gilding on the top. The hallmark is crisp and clear. Apart from the registration mark, in photograph 6, the mark on the blue banding is NOT a chip but a small "miss" of blue paint when made!
