A splendid cut glass dressing table bottle, with an embossed floral and scrollwork sterling silver, cork lined, screw top. The globular body is deep cut with rows of large hobnails - the latter decorated with diamonds and small hobnails - between parallel diamond cut grooves, the base is embellished with a radial burst; the silver top has an engraved central cartouche "CB". The silver lid hallmarked for London 1896, maker's mark "SSD" over "ED" for Drew & Sons.
