A good panel cut oval dressing table jar with a bevelled base; the jar has a floral, scrollwork and ribbon engraved sterling silver push on top with vacant central cartouche. The top hallmarked for Birmingham 1894, maker's mark "WCG" for W. C. Griffiths.
Condition: Fair. Small area of pricking to the inside of the silver top at the edge with resulting tiny bumps to the top surface (see image); a few small edge nicks to the body; no cracks, hairlines or bruising; good lid fit - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
