A handsome cut glass dressing table pot, with an embossed floral and scrollwork sterling silver push on top. The compressed globular body is cut with hobnails and diamonds within and between parallel grooves, the base is embellished with a starburst; the silver top has a vacant central cartouche. The silver lid hallmarked for Birmingham 1897, maker's mark "L&S" for Levi & Salaman.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: 2½in/6.4cm high, 2¾in/7cm at the widest point.
