A charming gilt metal oval box, with chased detail below a convex serpentine stone mounted hinged lid, and above a bevelled red agate mounted base. Mid to late 19th century, unmarked.
Condition: Good. small and barely noticeable V-shape indent or file mark to the underside edge of the serpentine top; light age and use wear; nothing further found - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
