INTAGLIO CUT & GILDED RASPBERRY MOTIF TAZZA COMPOTE

An excellent long stem tazza, skillfully intaglio cut and polychrome gilded with raspberry clusters, leaves and swirling stalks; gilt bands are applied around the rim and central button. The six sided and knopped stem is embellished with gilt edging, the base with an intaglio egg and dot band, as well as gilt banding. Circa 1900, often attributed to Moser, but more likely to be by Lobmeyr.
Condition: Good. Some light rubbing to the gilt, mostly to the base rim and band; minor age and use wear; nothing further found - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. Seller operates a 100% purchase price money back returns policy if not completely satisfied.
