A miniature representation in hallmarked solid silver of the internationally-renowned Uffington White Horse, Oxfordshire, one of England's oldest chalk hill figures which can be seen from miles away leaping across the head of a dramatic dry valley in the Ridgeway escarpment.
The stylised form of the White Horse, an icon of the English landscape, has been a subject of discussion since the 17th century. This pendant, bearing a London hallmark for 1990, is fitted with two 7-inch (17.5cm) chains which, together with the pendant itself, gives a total length of approximately 16 1/2 inches (or 42cms)
Condition: Excellent. Excellent condition. With box for gift giving.
