Arts and Crafts Large Ruskin Cabochon Brooch

A round Sterling Silver mounted Ruskin brooch, circa 1910-1920. The large 1 3/4" pottery cabochon displays lovely marbled shades of dusky pinks, cream and purples with crimson accents. There are flecks and shades of blue underneath, enhanced by the varying depths of glaze finish. An early brooch with the older fully working "C" clasp. Bezel stamped STERLING SILVER. Back impressed RUSKIN.
Condition: Excellent.
Dimensions: Diameter 1 3/4 ins (4.5 cm).
