A first world war British armed forces issue pocket watch by H Williamson Ltd. The army service number 17390F is marked on the dial, the side of the case & the rear cover, along with the military arrow. The large heavy duty nickel case is in excellent condition, it has screw on front & rear covers for dust & damp proofing, both close tightly & evenly. The original thick beveled glass has some surface scuffing but no deep scratches (looks worse in the picture than it actually is). The dial is excellent, with no chips or cracks. The 7 jewel movement runs well & keeps good time.
