A men's gold wristwatch by J W Benson in excellent condition, The 9 carat gold Borgel cushion case with raised bezel is in the style of the early Rolex Oysters. J W Benson watches are becoming increasingly sought after due to their high quality. The screw on back cover has the Glasgow import mark for 1936, the JWB case makers mark & the Borgel FB & key logo. There are no personal engravings. The enamelled dial is marked J.W.BENSON LONDON & has military style hands & numbers. The movement has it's original steel dust cover. The Swiss made lever movement is running well & keeping good time.
Condition: Excellent.
Dimensions: 1,1/8" x 1,1/8" (28mm x 28mm) excluding crown & lugs.
