An antique Persian rug from the Kirman area of S.W. Persia.This late 19th century rug has the classic central medallion design on a nice cream ground.An old PEREZ of Knightsbridge number is stencilled on the back. This rug needs a professional clean, which is reflected in the price. Lovely soft wool with a very fine weave.
Condition: Good. Good overall condition, with lowish pile in the middle.Old replacement selvedges.
