A rare white ground antique heriz carpet from N.W. Persia.A lovely light carpet with multicoloured stylized leaves and flowers allover, decorating a white field,which is quite rare.These carpets were woven near the Caucasian border and so have the typical Caucasian geometric designs.All lovely natural dyes.
Condition: Good. A chunky weave with a low pile but still hardwearing. Original selvedges. Minor losses to the guard stripes at both ends.
