A Mahal tribal rug from Western Persia with an all over floral design. Lovely bright vegetable colours and soft, glossy wool. The Mahal usually produced large carpets. From the first half of the 20th century.
Condition: Very Good. Very good condition with original selvedges. Rewoven fringes and part of one end minor border.
