A classic antique tribal prayer rug woven by Baluchi nomads from N.E. Persia.Woven on a ground colour of natural camel wool.The design uses the typical motifs of combs,small animals and the 2 hands on each side of the prayer niche. The chevron pattern at each end is woven in pile, immitating the more usual kelim ends.
 Condition: Fair. In fairly good general condition with some corrosion to the black dye, giving rise to some minor wear. Lowish pile generally but still looks good.It would prefer to be hung rather than walked on.Original hair selvedges and ends.
