Clarice Cliff Palette Plate Hand Painted
|
| Dateline: Circa 1950s |
Item# 31927 |
This is a Clarice Cliff palette plate, I take it that it was used for tea and light refeshments and that the thumb would make the plate sit snugly in the hand. The stamp on the back states "Pink Susan" which I take to be the name of the art work, also says Royal Staffordshire Ceramics by Clarice Cliff; Regd No 87847. The plate has no chips or cracks, but has crazing which is understandable for this type of plate. I am afraid I do not know the proper age of the plate. This Plate was hand painted.
Condition: Very Good. No chips or cracks, but has the usual crazing.
